Chick-fil-A releases coronavirus protocol

Coronavirus Watch

(WEHT)- In a press release Friday, Chick-fil-A says its restaurants have heightened cleaning and disinfecting procedures to maintain a clean environment for guests and team members.

Chick-fil-A is also instructing employees that do not feel well to stay home and self-monitor symptoms. Franchise owners have also been issued recommended procedures to follow if their community or restaurant becomes impacted by the coronavirus.

Chick-fil-A President Tim Tassopoulos says actions the restaurant chain have taken over recent years have helped prepare them for “scenarios like this.”

Right now, there are not any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our Tri-State area.
