WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Boonville Police Department, Newburgh Police Department, Chandler Police Department, and the Warrick County Sheriff’s office released their plans for how they will respond to and enforce the governor’s executive order and the restrictions on travel and business.

Law enforcement agencies in Warrick County will not be stopping vehicles solely for the purpose of enforcing the order, as they will continue to focus their resources on protecting people and property from criminal activity.

If an individual is stopped for another reason and cannot provide a reason for travel, that person will be asked to return home immediately.

The same enforcement will occur if the officer is notified of a large group of people.
