Ky. (WEHT) — The Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) is reporting an increase in COVID-19 cases at three Kentucky meat processing facilities in our area.
DPH says Specialty Food Group (SFG) in Daviess County has 33 positive employees. SFG reported 22 employees April 30 and has temporarily suspended manufacturing operations this week.
DPH reports 181 positive cases at Perdue Farms in Ohio County and 93 positive employees at Tyson Foods in Henderson County. Tyson reopened May 4 after being closed for deep cleaning.
Everyone at Perdue Farms will be tested for COVID-19, according to Kentucky officials.
