Daviess County, KY declares state of emergency

DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) — Daviees County, Kentucky declared a state of emergency Friday, joining a growing list of counties in the Tri-State.

In the declaration, Daviess County Judge/Executive Al Mattingly “hereby order[s] and direct[s] all Daviess County divisions and departments to coordinate and cooperate with Green River Health Department, and state and federal agencies to respond to the public health threat posed by COVID-19.”

The declaration will remain in effect until an executive order lifts it.
