BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WEHT) – Western Kentucky University will extend alternative learning through the end of the Spring 2020 semester.

It means that students will finish the school year online, rather than in person on the Bowling Green campus.

All in-person events for the remainder of the spring 2020 semester have been postponed, cancelled, or virtualized.

The school says degrees will still be granted in May to students who complete all the required coursework.

In-person commencement celebrations, or graduation ceremonies will take place at a later date.
