MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WEHT) — Drive-thru testing for Hopkins County Residents will start Tuesday morning at Madisonville North Hopkins High School.

Madisonville will be one of four drive-thru sites that Kroger Health is setting up to test people for COVID-19.

You must register through the Kroger Health website, here, before you will be allowed to be tested.

Due to testing being offered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Brown Badgett Loop will be closed to northbound traffic at the curve, prior to the school, near Hanson Road.

Drivers traveling south on Brown Badgett will be detoured over the bridge onto Stagecoach Road.

Or, they can take Barnett Blvd. to Hanson Road.

Those wanting to get tested should drive in through the school’s front entrance.

When leaving, you’ll travel south on Brown Badgett Loop, towards Hanson Road.

Police say the closure should only minimally impact neighborhood traffic.

Again, testing will be offered Tuesday through Thursday.

Testing times are from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

On their Facebook page, the Madisonville Police Department requests that, if you live in the area, please make sure your children are aware of the increase in traffic.
