PENTAGON CITY, Va. (WEHT) — Airline travel is down 96% compared to this time last year.
The Transportation Security Administration says that on April 8th of last year, it checked in more than two million people.
This year, it screened just shy of 95,000 people on the same day.
The industry group, Airlines for America, also says only about one in every ten seats on U.S. domestic planes have been occupied.
