EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Vanderburgh Humane Society has extended its closure in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

VHS says all departments including adoptions, the clinic, and River Kitty Cat Cafe will be closed through at least April 20.

The human society closed on March 25.

The facility will still be accepting adoption applications online, but no adoptions will be completed until the quarantine period is lifted.
