EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The number of shoppers allowed inside Target and Walmart stores will be limited for the time being.
Customers will allowed inside one-by-one at a single entrance. The limitations will be based on location and the store’s size. Once at capacity, customers will stand in lines outside with social distancing markers in place. Walmart aisles will also be marked as one-way to limit contact between customers.
“I know there have been some cases in Evansville, but we don’t seem to be a hot spot in the United States. But I think it’s prudent to protect yourself and to protect others from yourself,” Donna Blanchard.
Some stores may also begin only selling essential items.
