Gov. Holcomb updates COVID-19 testing in the state, ‘stay-at-home’ order

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind (WEHT) Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb gave an update Tuesday on COVID-19 testing as well as a reminder about how businesses can find out how to comply with his ‘stay-at-home’ order.

Five additional deaths and 107 new cases of COVID-19 were reported Tuesday.

Health officials say the numbers of positive cases are going up as more people are getting tested.

Nearly 3,000 tests have been reported to the Indiana State Department of Health. We’re told 13% of tests coming back positive.

The call center has been activated for businesses to learn what they need to do to comply with the governor’s ‘stay-at-home’ order. State officials say there were some technical issues initially,

More than 1,000 calls has come into the call center as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.

The call center is open for questions Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. That number is 1-877-820-0890.
