Coronavirus Watch

CHICAGO (WEHT)- Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker announced Sunday that all Illinois bars and restaurants will close Monday through March 30th. However, delivery, curbside pickup, and drive-thru are still available options.

The news comes as 29 new COVID-19 cases were announced Sunday, bringing the total in the state to 93. 13 counties in Illinois now have a confirmed case.

Pritzker started the press conference by discussing the “unacceptable and frankly dangerous” situation that developed at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, where hundreds of people were crammed together during health screenings.

Right now, there are not any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our Tri-State area
