Willard Library issues coronavirus protocol

Coronavirus Watch

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)- The Willard Library released a press release Friday saying all public events for the month of March have been canceled. However, the library will stay open for the time being.

The library encourages visitors to limit visits to one hour and says all minors must be accompanied by an adult. The library asks people with signs of illness, especially respiratory illnesses, not to visit the library.

The library says it is taking precautions and that the staff is diligently washing their hands, using hand sanitizer, and virucidal wipes on “hard, high touch surfaces, including returned library material.”

Right now, there are not any confirmed cases of coronavirus in our Tri-State area.
