WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) – Warrick County Coroner Sarah Seaton confirms two more residents at the Village at Hamilton Pointe nursing home have died from complications with COVID-19.
Seaton said an 83-year-old man and a 92-year-old woman died Saturday night. They are the latest victims of the deadly virus outbreak at the Warrick County long-term care facility. 12 total residents from the facility have now died from COVID-19.
Hamilton Pointe is among two local facilities in Warrick County dealing with a virus outbreak.
At Signature Healthcare in Newburgh, 13 residents and one nurse have died from the virus. Seaton says a Signature resident died on May 12, but a mix up between the state and county led to the additional death being reported Friday.
