More on the alleged murder

Evansville Police said White died at St. Vincent Hospital on January 1, after being shot.

Police said they recovered 68 grams of marijuana in White’s car. According to authorities, White was killed over less than $500 worth of marijuana.

A probable cause affidavit states that White told police “in my phone” and “she set me up”.

EPD detectives found a text conversation between White and a number belonging to Charissa Robinson detailing a prospective drug deal.

After multiple interviews, police said Charissa Robinson confessed that a drug deal robbery was the plan, and mentioned a few other men present at the home on South Bedford during the shooting.

According to the affidavit, Charissa Robinson said that she stole a pistol from her grandfather and gave it to Mykel Blair.

Charissa Robinson told police that she believes it was the weapon used to shoot White.

Derrick Butts lived in the home on South Bedford, and was present during the shooting, according to police.

According to the affidavit, police are searching for a fourth person, 20-year-old Noah Coleman, allegedly involved in the shooting.
