A semi truck driver is in the hospital after his truck collied with another on Highway 41 in Gibson County.
The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says a collision happened after 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Deputies have closed one lane of Highway 41 at Cole Mine Road near Fort Branch. The scene of the crash is around three miles from Gibson Southern High School.
The semi truck driver that ran into the back of the trailer in front of him, did go to the hospital under his own power as a precaution. No one was seriously injured.
Crews are working to clear debris from the road, while engines one of the rigs was carrying are being loaded onto another truck for transport.
The closing could last through 7:00 a.m., according to authorities.
