Crews were on the scene Thursday pulling parts of a a car out of the Ohio River at Hays Boat Ramp.

Henderson Police received complaints from boaters at Hays Boat Ramp on Thursday concerning debris and car parts found in the water near the ramp.

The city dive team found the debris and crews excavated the parts of the car in the afternoon.

Crews will be sorting through the parts to try to identify anything that can be.

The car was embedded in muck so it may take some time to clean and sort through.

HPD says the boat ramp will likely be inaccessible on Friday so crews can check for more debris.
