Crews Respond to Morning House Fire in Evansville

News

Evansville firefighters were on the scene of a house fire around 3 a.m. Monday.

It happened in the 1000 block N Second Ave.

Neighbors tell our crew the house that caught fire is believed to be vacant.

Firefighters say that fire ended up spreading to a second home next door.

The fire is now out, but crews are still putting water on hot spots.

So far, investigators have not had a chance to get inside to see if they can determine what happened.
