PIKE CO., Ind (WEHT) Two men are in jail after allegedly trying to drive away from police, then crashing, then running away.

Indiana State Police say a trooper clocked a car driving over 115mph on I-69 in Pike County near the 51 mile marker. This was around 8:34 p.m. EST on Tuesday. When the trooper turned on his emergency lights and siren, we’re told the driver just kept going.

The chase went into Daviess County at speeds up to 150mph. ISP says the driver, Benjamin Harrison, 24, of Miami, Florida, lost control as he tried to turn west onto US-150 and crashed into a concrete wall.

Troopers say Harrison and a passenger, Jason Joseph, 23, of Washington, ran away. Harrison was quickly captured. Authorities had to set up a perimeter to catch Joseph.

Both men were arrested on resisting law enforcement charges and taken to the Daviess County Jail.
