Ted Cruz’s jam-packed schedule over the last week may reflect what some are calling the do-or-die nature of Indiana’s primary.
Donald Trump says the state holds the key to him winning the Republican nomination.
Ted Cruz appears to disagree with that — telling a crowd he will stay in the race regardless of Tuesday’s result.
“I am in for the distance as long as we have a viable path to victory. I am competing to the end,” said Cruz.
On Monday, Cruz was campaigning with Governor Mike Pence in Osceola — a town in the northern part of the state.
Cruz is expected to make another visit to Evansville on Tuesday.
The owner of Turoni’s Pizzery and Brewery says he’s expecting the campaign to stop in around 11:30 a.m. at the Main Street location.
