Daviess Co. Kentucky under local state of emergency due to storm damage


DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEHT) – Daviess County, Kentucky is under a local state of emergency due to wide-spread storm and wind damage from Saturday’s storm.

There was damage throughout the county, including utility poles and powerlines.

The county is requesting state and federal funding assistance to aid electric co-ops in restoring properties due to storm damage.

This declaration does not include closures of roads, offices or services. But it will help electric co-ops in re-cooperating losses from the storm.
