The Daviess County Board of Elections has submitted a proposal for the 13th District House race to the House committee formed to address the single-vote race.

Last week, the committee approved a full recount request from Republican D.J. Johnson – following his loss to Democrat Jim Glenn in November.

The committee voted 6-3 to authorize the full recount.

The Daviess County board has proposed conducting the recount on Saturday, February 2 starting at 7 a.m.

The cost estimate is $10,200.

The board is waiting for a response from the chair of the House committee.
