Driver accused of going over 100 mph on Lloyd Expressway

An Evansville driver was pulled over for allegedly going over 100 mph on the Lloyd Expressway Tuesday night, according to Eyewitness News’ media partner the Evansville Courier & Press.

Sidney Hettenbach, 24, was arrested on a charge of reckless driving, the Courier & Press reported.

Hettenbach allegedly told police she was trying to get to McDonald’s before it closed to get food for her boyfriend, after being clocked going double the Lloyd Expressway’s 50 mph speed limit.

Police said the incident happened on the Lloyd between Garvin and Main St.

She was pulled over near the Lloyd and First Ave., where her vehicle was towed.

Her cash bond was set at $50 which was posted Wednesday morning, according to the Courier & Press.
