EFD called to fire at home on Pollack



Two people were left without a home in Evansville, following a fire Friday morning.

Evansville firefighters were called to a house on Pollack Ave. around 8 a.m.

One person was inside but they made it out safely.

Fire investigators said it started in an upstairs bedroom.

Evansville firefighters were called to a home around 8:00 a.m. Friday.

It was in the 5100 block of Pollack Avenue. 

There were reports of people trapped on an upstairs floor, but we’re told everyone was able to get out of the residence.
