Eldorado Resorts announces merger with Caesars

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — The operator of Tropicana Evansville — Eldorado Resorts, Inc. – and Caesars Entertainment Corporation announced on Monday that the two companies have entered into a definitive merger agreement.

This agreement will create the largest US gaming company.

The combined transaction includes 60 domestic casino-resorts and gaming facilities across 16 states.

The company will be headquartered in Reno, Nevada and will retain a significant corporate presence in Las Vegas.
