EPD: Local restaurant robbed; cash missing from safe

Police are investigating a break-in at an Evansville Jimmy Johns, where a safe was opened.

According to a police report, sometime between 1 and 4:30 Monday morning, the back door of the Jimmy Johns on St. Joseph was smashed in.

When police arrived, there was no one inside, but they did find an open safe with cash missing.

No specific amount of money taken has been released.

So far no arrests have been made.
