EVANVILLE, Ind. (WEHT)– Evansville Police arrested a man for allegedly attacking a woman with a machete in Midtown Friday morning.
Investigators say Allan Ramos was upset over a domestic issue with an ex and broke into an apartment in the 1200 block of North Elliott Street just before 6 a.m. and hit a woman three times with the machete.
The woman told police she was cut in the face and on her arm. Police say she drove herself to a hospital.
Officers arrested Ramos a few hours later. He faces several charges including battery with a deadly weapon.
