EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – An Evansville man charged with child abuse is now being held on a $20,000 bond.
21-year-old Veldon Huck is accused of injuring his one-month-old baby.
According to Evansville Police, Huck admitted to forcing a pacifier into the baby’s mouth, tearing part of its tongue.
Police say doctors found bruises on the baby’s head and several broken leg bones.
Huck reportedly told EPD he suffers from intermittent explosive disorder but is not on medication for it.

He’s due back in court for an initial hearing on October 1st.
