An Evansville man who pleaded guilty to a 2013 deadly crime spree will spend up to 65 years behind bars.
John Jackson, Jr. pleaded guilty to the murder of Nicholas Matthew and the robbery and attempted murder of a female cab driver.
It was Christmas Eve 2013.
Jackson received the maximum sentence for murder, attempted murder, and robbery. He will serve concurrently resulting in 65 years. He won’t be eligible for parole for at least 55 years.
