The Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra has appointed Kimberly Bredemeier as the acting executive director as of December 1, 2018.
Bredemeier’s responsibilities include managing the human and financial resources of the organization in order to achieve the orchestra’s mission.
She will be responsible for all operational aspects of the organizations and implementing the policies set by the board of directors.
Bredemeier has been the Director of Operation for the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra for 15 seasons. In that time, she oversaw every performance of the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus at the Victory Theatre, Lincoln and Mesker Amphitheatre, Red Skelton Performing Arts Center, Rapp Owen Granary, former Roberts Stadium and The Centre, St. Meinrad Archabbey and several Tri-State churches.
She has also served as an executive member in contract negotiations, secured international visas for performers, managed a successful international choir tour to Ireland, among other accomplishments.
Bredemeier a Bachelor of Science in Music Management from UE and is also a former Evansville Philharmonic Youth Orchestra member.
She has also lectured at UE in their Music Management programs over the last 10 years.
Bredemeier lives in Mt. Vernon, Indiana with her husband Dustin and children.
