Evansville Police searching for Armed Robbery suspect

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — Evansville Police are searching for an armed robbery suspect.

Around 3:30 Monday morning, a man with a gun robbed a convenience store in the 1600 block of S. Kentucky Avenue.

Witnesses say the suspect grabbed cash from the register and fled the scene.

EPD has set up a perimeter around the area.

K9s were brought in to try to track down the suspect.

So far, they have not located anyone.

There have been no reports of any injuries from the robbery scene.
