Evansville Sees One of Its Rainiest Starts to Spring

Record Rainfall in the Tri-state_-993586721199732853

New information overnight shows nearly 13 inches of rain falling in Evansville since March 1.

That puts this spring in the top five wettest starts to the season on record.

In the first 19 days of April alone, Evansville has seen five inches of rain which is almost three inches above average.

As we begin a new week, there is some concern for flooding.

In fact, flood warnings continue for several communities along the Ohio River.

The good news is even though the Ohio River is at flood stage, it is expected to fall below flood stage by Tuesday evening.
