Henderson, Ky. (WEHT)– A local hospital spent Saturday morning having fun and helping Henderson families.
Methodist Health Hospital hosted its first Family Fall Expo. Kids and their parents went around to tables and learned ways to keep each other healthy. They also learned how to put on a cast if their bone is broken. Officials with the hospital say this may be the first year but they hope it continues because it’s a good resource.
“Methodist Health is a strong asset to this community and we want to be known as a friendly place where you can come for healthcare and what better way to do it than a family expo,” Linda White Methodist Health CEO says.
A firetrucK, police car and ambulance were all there for kids to explore. We’re told around 200 people came out this morning.
