Medical examiners still trying to identify a body found in Grayson County, Kentucky last week.
Relatives of a man who disappeared from Ohio County say they believe it’s their loved one.
“Someone knows what happened to Tromain. I’m not going to give up until I get those answers on what happened to my cousin.,” says Ashley Howell, Tromain Mackall’s cousin. She last spoke with him a week before his disappearance.
“He seemed pretty happy about his job. He was happy about the move, and he was happy about Simone, his girlfriend,” Howell says. “But we don’t know what happened, or what went on for this to occur.”
Ohio County Sheriffs Deputies say Tromain was last seen at a home on Collier Road near the Ohio County-Daviess County border. He left a party at that home after an argument and fight broke out.
Investigators searched for signs of Mackall after he was reported missing on July 25th. A body was found in neighboring Grayson County more than a week ago. Medical examiners haven’t officially released the identity of that person, but Howell believes its her cousin.
“It’s been really hectic,” she says. “My aunt’s ended up in the hospital because of this. She’s a little better now, but still kind of hard for her to accept that someone murdered her son.”
Howell says Tromain’s never been in serious danger before. She hopes someone will come forward with the truth about that night.
“I believe that they’ll be able to find out what happened, and we will seek justice,” says Howell.
