Federal dollars going to opioid fight


WASHINGTON D.C. (WEHT) – The battle against opioid addiction is getting a $400 million infusion of cash.

Vice President Mike Pence announced the funding last week in Kentucky.

The money will go to federally-funded health centers, rural anti-addiction organizations, and academic institutions.
