HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Around 9:00 last night, firefighters were sent to an apartment in the 500 block of East Michigan Street.
The first arriving crews saw smoke coming from the attic.
The ceiling was pulled to expose charring caused by electrical wiring. The fire was quickly put out, and the electricity in the apartment was shut off.
Firefighters say the cause was accidental.
