Fisher Dynamics in Evansville cuts back hours, could start layoffs due to GM protests


EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The strike against General Motors is starting to work its way into the Tri-State.

Workers at Fisher Dynamics tell Eyewitness News the Evansville facility is cutting back on hours and it may start laying off workers.

Workers who talked to us say since they cannot ship their product to general motors, inventory is piling up, and the company basically has no place to put the things they make.

Plant officials in Evansville referred us to the company headquarters in Michigan where our calls were not returned.
