Officials are asking flags to be lowered Monday in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan.
Indiana Governor Mike Pence directed all state facilities to fly flags at half-staff in memory of her service.
Gov. Pence is also asking businesses to lower their flags in her honor.
President Barack Obama also ordered flags at federal buildings, embassies, military posts, and naval vessels to lower flags to half-staff.
The president said, “Nancy Reagan once wrote that nothing could prepare you for living in the White House. She was right, of course. But we had a head start, because we were fortunate to benefit from her proud example, and her warm and generous advice.”
Reagan passed away Sunday due to heart failure.
