Four South Middle School students chosen to go to Disney World in November

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Several local kids will also get to experience a trip of a lifetime in a few months.

Cops Connecting with Kids revealed which Henderson students are going to Disney World.

The Henderson Police Department announced today the four South Middle School students who will attend the all-expense paid trip.

This is the second time students from Henderson will join Evansville kids on the trip.

Students have to agree to do well in school and stay out of trouble to qualify.

“This is their trip, this is about them, and this is a reward for them for doing the right things. So, whatever they want to do is what we’ll do. I told them last time I’m definitely afraid of heights but hey if they want to ride the roller coasters, this is their trip. I’ll ride them.”

The officers and kids will leave for Florida on November 18th for the six-day trip.
