There were major developments Thursday in the Iran nuclear program discussions.
World leaders say they have come to a tentative agreement.
As part of the deal, Iran agrees to reduce its stockpile of low-enriched uranium for 15 years.
In response, the European Union agreed to terminate all nuclear-related economic and financial sanctions against Iran.
The US would do the same once Iran holds up its end of the deal.
President Obama says this deal will make Iran the most inspected and monitored country in the world.
“I am convinced that if this framework leads to a final comprehensive deal, it will make our country, our allies, and our world safer.”
World leaders hope to hammer out a final deal by the end of June.
