HENDRICKS, Co., Ind (WEHT) A Virginia woman on the run for months with her four children is arrested thanks to a tip from an A&E viewer.

Melody Bannister was taken into custody at a gas station in Speedway, Indiana.

The U.S. Marshal’s Office says it was thanks to a tip from a viewer who watched the A&E series, ‘Live PD: Wanted’ on Dec. 12, 2019. Authorities say that tip drove the investigation into the direction that led to Bannister’s capture.

Bannister was wanted on felony charges — including abduction.

U.S. marshals say Bannister disappeared with her four children after a court granted custody to her estranged husband.

She was spotted in several states, including Kentucky.

Bannister is being held in the Hendricks County Jail.
