Around 9:00 Wednesday night, detectives from the Clarksville Police Department and Madisonville Police arrested two fugitives with active warrants stemming from an aggravated assault case.

Twenty-five-year-old Jordan Hairston and 32-year-old Jeffrey Hairston were apprehended after barricading themselves inside an apartment in the 1500 block of Island Ford Road in Madisonville.

Officers say after arriving on the scene, they attempted to make contact with the subjects, who refused to answer the door.

After a brief stand off, detectives say the men surrendered peacefully.

Authorities say 31-year-old Whitney Williams, who also had an active arrest warrant, was located in the apartment and arrested.

Police say Jeffrey Hairston was being sought after violating his parole.

Williams is facing charges of Theft by Deception involving cold checks.

The three are currently lodged in Hopkins County Jail.
