Funeral services for Evansville shooting victim

Funeral arrangements are released for an Evansville man who police say was shot and killed on Tuesday night.

The Evansville Police Department says 19-year-old Caleb Singer fatally shot 20-year-old Nicolas Belcher while he was sitting in his car in the 1300 block of Mesker Park Dr. Singer was arrested in Bowling Green, Kentucky on Wednesday morning. 

Funeral services for Belcher will be Saturday, March 10, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel on Washington Ave. in Evansville starting at 11 a.m.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, March 9, and from 10 a.m. until service time on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to any Old National Bank location made in memory of Nicolas Belcher or to the family’s GoFundMe account.

McDonalds is organizing a fundraiser on Friday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Highway 41 North and Mt. Pleasant Rd. locations. The proceeds will go to the crew members of the family.
