Gallatin Co. Coroner: Drugs played role in missing Illinois woman’s death

GALLATIN COUNTY, Ill. (ABC/WSIL) – The Gallatin County Coroner’s Office says methamphetamine played a role in the death of a 20-year-old missing Illinois woman.

Brooke Naylor was last seen on March 3, 2019.

Her abandoned vehicle was later found in an area crews had been searching.

Naylor’s body was found days later near Pot Hole Lane in Gallatin County.

The coroner said Naylor died from hypothermia, but says the meth played a role in her death as well.
