Saturday night Gibson County Police conducted a traffic stop on a Grey 2014 Toyota pickup for speeding on US 41 near County Road 440 North.
When the officer approached the vehicle they reported the scent of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and began a roadside investigation.
During the investigation, passenger 25-year-old Courtney Eakins of Vincennes was in possession of marijuana, methamphetamines, and paraphernalia.
Eakins was charged with possession of methamphetamines, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession or marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
Eakins was transported to Gibson County Jail.
