EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – Golf legend Fuzzy Zoeller spent the day in Evansville, mingling on the golf course with local golfers at the Evansville Country Club at the 39th annual St. Vincent Heritage Open.

Fuzzy Zoeller: “Well you see the real character of a person when they’re swinging the golf club, and after they hit their shot. You can tell. It brings out the true stars and stripes of everybody. Since I retired from the game, I’ve been doing absolutely nothing. and I’m not gonna lie to you Jessica, the only problem with doing nothing is you never know when you’re quite done with it. Hey, but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I mean I can absolutely enjoy the game, I enjoyed it when I was on tour and playing the best in the world and competing against those guys, But I also enjoy coming out and playing golf with my buddies. It’s the same game. Do I try as hard? No I don’t try as hard, but we have a lot of fun. These guys are doctors, they’re not real good at it. They’re professionals at what they do, but at this game, it’s an entirely different deal.”
