Gov. Holcomb visits India


NEW DELHI (WEHT) – Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Schellinger began the governor’s second economic development trip to India this week, promoting the state’s economy and relationship with Indiana business and government leaders.

Gov. Holcomb met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Gov. Holcomb also met with US Ambassador to India Kenneth Juster.

Indiana is home to eight India-based corporations that support approximately 1,000 Hoosier careers.
