Grand jury hands down murder charge for man involved in deadly Daviess County, KY crash

The Daviess County, KY man accused of crashing a vehicle that killed his passenger has been indicted for murder.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office tells Eyewitness News that 18-year-old Robert Garner was indicted for murder and DUI by a grand jury.

Garner is accused of driving a car in early September that went off the road and through a fence. It struck some trees before ending up in a lake.

A passenger, 21-year-old Cody Glover, died in that crash.

Garner is in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.

Investigators say alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
