Griffin files to run for State Representative in Indiana

WARRICK CO., Ky (WEHT) Mike Griffin has thrown his hat into the ring for State Rep. Ron’s Bacon’s seat who is not seeking re-election.

This is House District 75 which includes most of Warrick County and the South half of Spencer and Pike counties.

Griffin, a Republican, wants to maintain the tax cuts Bacon put in place during his time in office. His platform also contains finishing bringing a high-speed broadband infrastructure to the District, driving more funding to teacher pay and continuing to cut government red tape for more efficiency and protecting the First and Second Amendment rights of Hoosiers.

Cindy Ledbetter, a nurse practitioner, is also running as a Republican for the seat. John Hurley, a Democrat, has also announced he is seeking the seat.
