Henderson Family Hosts Student Cyclers

Riding a bike across the country is not easy, but some super smart students from the ivy league have a safe haven here in Henderson.

Seven students from MIT and Harvard are cycling from Washington D.C. to San Francisco to raise awareness for education in subjects like math, biology, and physics.

The students ended up camping in Henderson using a website called warmshowers.org.

Brad Ayer from Henderson has hosted people for nearly 10 years through the site.

He says they have about three to four groups a year, meeting people from all walks of life. From missionaries to other riders, even people from different countries.

Brad says he always offers the groups Grippos and other southern comfort foods.
