Henderson Woman Faces Drug Charges after Car gets Stuck in Mud

A Henderson woman faces charges after deputies say they found a large amount of drugs in her vehicle.

Authorities were called to investigate a vehicle stalled underneath the northbound Twin Bridge just before 8 Sunday evening.

Deputies say the vehicle had become stuck in the mud.

After being given permission to search the vehicle, deputies report that they found a large amount of suspected crystal meth, along with marijuana and a substantial amount of cash.

Forty four-year-old Sandra Griffin is now facing charges including Drug Trafficking and Possession of Marijuana.

She’s being lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
